Ninja ( Khaleesi )

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 7 years

Ninja (Khaleesi) Staff Mix born: 29.01.2019 chipped, vaccinated, spayed Sometimes life circumstances change and you have to make decisions that you don't want to make. This is also the case with our Khaleesi, who we called Ninja here. Seven years ago she was allowed to move into a loving family and has found a wonderful home there. Unfortunately, personal changes now force her owner to make this decision. Khaleesi still lives in her familiar home at the moment and we would like to find a seamless transition for her to a new family. The pretty little mouse is spayed, chipped, vaccinated and of course has a pet passport. Khaleesi is an absolutely people-oriented dog. She loves adults just as much as children and greets all people friendly and openly. She also gets along very well with other dogs. Currently she lives problem-free with a male and a female. Only very rarely does sympathy simply decide that the chemistry doesn't work out. She can easily stay alone for four to five hours, drives enthusiastically in the car and likes to accompany her people on excursions. In winter she shows her particularly cuddly side - she loves nothing more than snuggling under the blanket and enjoying every stroke. It is also typical of Khaleesi that she is a real sun dog. Rain is definitely not one of her favorite activities. She much prefers sunny walks or an outing by the water. Although she loves water above all, she is not a good swimmer. That's why she always wears a life jacket when swimming - and it makes her feel like a puddle dog. Khaleesi is a friendly, uncomplicated and loving companion who just wants to find a home where she can belong again. Our sweetie can be safely called a beginner dog. We are looking for a family, preferably with children and nice dogs. Khaleesi is located in RLP. If you're interested, please fill out our form. Questionnaire for interested parties

About Ninja ( Khaleesi )

What life with Ninja ( Khaleesi ) looks like

Ninja ( Khaleesi ) is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Listenhunde Nothilfe in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ninja ( Khaleesi ), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ninja ( Khaleesi )?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Listenhunde Nothilfe handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ninja ( Khaleesi ) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ninja ( Khaleesi ) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Listenhunde Nothilfe will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Ninja ( Khaleesi ) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ninja ( Khaleesi ) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Listenhunde Nothilfe early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ninja ( Khaleesi ) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
