adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! The sweet Noa is ready to conquer your life with her unique blend of charm and playfulness! At her esteemed 8 years old, Noa may no longer be a wild teenager, but she is certainly not yet a senior – she is in the best age to share all her love and show what she is capable of! ❤️ Noa had the luck to travel to her foster home in 15848 Beeskow OT Oegeln. She can be visited there at any time. She is already settling in well and walks nicely on a leash, is very cuddly and gets along well with her fellow animals. She shows herself more open and playful every day and loves all people. We can also imagine her well in a family. She also gets along well with cats. Noa is totally silly and playful, she loves being stroked and spoiled and is a gentle and obedient soul. Noa wishes for a rural home, as the city would be a bit too crowded for her. The approximately 50 cm tall and 20 kg heavy female dog was rescued from the public shelter in Zalau, where unfortunately animals are still being killed. Noa is looking forward to long nature walks, a cozy dog bed, and of course, a whole lot of cuddles. A visit to a dog training class would also surely please her after the adjustment period, because one never learns enough. Noa is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. Thank you, Peggy W.! You have given Noa the chance to start a new life with a better future through your name sponsorship. As of: 03.04.

About Noa

What life with Noa looks like

Noa is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Noa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Noa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Noa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Noa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Noa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Noa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Noa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
