NOE

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 9 years

Here is Noé—a neutered male Bearded Collie, born on June 15, 2017, microchipped with ID 250268600152348. He is LOF and has a brown coat. Noé is being put up for adoption to the great regret of his owner, but the situation has become unmanageable... For years, this little guy has been living with another male dog, but for the past few months, Noé has been fighting constantly with the older male—attacks have become increasingly violent. His owner was forced to completely separate them because he fears a serious accident might occur. Noé is vaccinated but not neutered. Previously, he lived indoors—he was house-trained, didn’t bark, didn’t make a mess, and didn’t destroy anything, though he would sometimes scratch at the door when left alone. Outdoors, Noé knows how to walk on a leash; he pulls a bit sometimes and needs occasional recall commands when he gets excited. Like many Bearded Collies, he has a selective ear—one that tunes in or out depending on the situation. Noé isn’t social with other male dogs; as for females? That would need to be assessed, since his owner isn’t sure... The same goes for cats. With people, Noé is gentle but sometimes timid. He has been...

About NOE

What life with NOE looks like

NOE is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at Solidarité Bearded in France.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting NOE, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about NOE?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Solidarité Bearded handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw NOE on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt NOE if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Solidarité Bearded will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is NOE already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if NOE isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Solidarité Bearded early rather than rehoming privately; they know NOE and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
