NONA,süßes Hundemädchen

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 3 years

Nona Ca. 49 cm high Ca. 20 kg Born ca. March/April 2022 Friendly Sister of Cleo Nona is a young female dog and still lives in the Shelter! She is young, full of life and has apparently survived her time on the street - alone with her sister and away from her mother - well. Nona is a very friendly female dog and gets along well with other dogs. Whether she also gets along with cats we do not know, but can be tested if necessary. Nona and her sister Cleo were found by our animal rights activist Laura in Craiova on the street at the end of May 2022, they were estimated to be only 2 months old at that time! (the cute pictures from their puppy age are on our homepage). The two little ones were apparently abandoned - which is unfortunately common. Since Laura herself has many dogs and cats at home, the siblings were brought to a friendly animal rights activist in the Shelter. There they live in a kennel and can romp around with their sister and other dogs in the run-out from time to time. Nona is thankfully healthy and lively, is up for anything and has her life ahead of her! We do not know what "breeds" she has because we do not know the parents. She travels with TRACES (European veterinary authorities' monitoring), international pet passport, is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, receives flea/tick medication, vaccinated against parvovirus, distemper, leptospirosis, rabies and gets her own safety harness. Before departure she will be additionally tested for Giardia and with a SNAP4 test for four Mediterranean diseases. After three days in a German foster home Nona can finally move into her new home. What life with NONA,süßes Hundemädchen looks like

NONA,süßes Hundemädchen is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierfreunde im Fläming e.V. in Germany.

Frequently asked

Adopting NONA,süßes Hundemädchen, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about NONA,süßes Hundemädchen?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierfreunde im Fläming e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw NONA,süßes Hundemädchen on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt NONA,süßes Hundemädchen if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierfreunde im Fläming e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is NONA,süßes Hundemädchen already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if NONA,süßes Hundemädchen isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierfreunde im Fläming e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know NONA,süßes Hundemädchen and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
