NOX – 1,5ans – ♂

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 4 months

I am Nox. I am a one and a half-year-old Cane Corso and despite my age, I have already changed my life more often than many dogs do in their entire existence. I have experienced several abandonments and departures that I did not choose. I tried to adapt each time, and for a long time, my life resembled a succession of never unpacked suitcases. Today, I am in foster care. And for the first time, I have found stability, humans who understand me, and who take the time to help me grow. Those who live with me daily describe me as a social, attentive, and endearing dog. A dog who mostly needs a chance to be given. Behind my large Cane Corso body, there is still a lot of puppy. I am an affectionate dog. I love people, sometimes with a bit too much enthusiasm. I also love children, even if my size can sometimes make me clumsy. For a long time, I did not have many rules or stability. Upon my arrival in foster care, I was overwhelmed by my emotions. I jumped, I rode other dogs, I had trouble managing my frustration and excitement because no one had taught me otherwise. The good news is that I learn at an impressive rate. I am intelligent and willing. When explained with kindness, I understand quickly. I learn to wait before eating, to manage my emotions, to listen. I am young, perfectible, but I have a great margin for improvement. I am comfortable everywhere: in the city, in the countryside, in the car. At home, I know how to settle down. I love comfort and the calm moments after exertion. With other dogs, I am social and full of good intentions. I still lack finesse, and some of the same species of animals must remind me to behave when I become too intrusive. What defines me today is not the number of times I have been abandoned, but what I have become despite it. A companion who loves humans and continues to trust them despite disappointments. And my most beautiful story is still to be written. So fill out this questionnaire so that my foster parents can contact you:

About NOX – 1,5ans – ♂

What life with NOX – 1,5ans – ♂ looks like

NOX – 1,5ans – ♂ is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Association Ron'Rhône in Lyon.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

Frequently asked

Adopting NOX – 1,5ans – ♂, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about NOX – 1,5ans – ♂?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Association Ron'Rhône handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw NOX – 1,5ans – ♂ on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt NOX – 1,5ans – ♂ if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Association Ron'Rhône will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is NOX – 1,5ans – ♂ already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if NOX – 1,5ans – ♂ isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Association Ron'Rhône early rather than rehoming privately; they know NOX – 1,5ans – ♂ and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
