Nuka Welpe

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 5 months

Nuka - A Little Energy Bundle Seeks Her Big Happiness! Five months young, full of life and ready to conquer the hearts of her people! Sometimes it just takes one person who doesn't look away to lead a little dog's life into a happy future. Nuka was lucky! A friend of our organization ASIPA discovered the little female dog in a village and made sure she was brought to safety. Today she lives with a foster family and can look forward to what is so important for every puppy: a life full of love, security and adventure. But one thing is still missing for Nuka to be completely happy: her own family, where she can arrive forever! Nuka is a friendly, cheerful and open-minded little dog lady who is bursting with energy. With her just five months old, she is full of a sense of discovery and wants to get to know the world. Everything is exciting, there is something to discover everywhere, and she would probably like to play, romp and experience new adventures all day. With her currently about 30 cm shoulder height and her slender 6 kg, Nuka is still a little female dog. How big she will be once we can't predict with certainty. Nuka is ready for her big adventure: life in her own family! Of course, the little mouse still needs to learn everything that belongs to a happy dog's life. Housebreaking, leash training, the rules of living together and patiently waiting when people don't have time to play - she wants to discover all this with loving guidance. Her new family should therefore be happy to accompany a puppy on his way to adulthood. Whoever adopts Nuka doesn't just get a dog. She gets a small personality full of joie de vivre, who wants to grow, learn and go through life with her people. A little whirlwind that can fill the home with laughter, movement and lots of love. We wish Nuka people who show her with patience, understanding and a lot of heart how beautiful a dog's life can be. People who know that a puppy can't do everything overnight and who are willing to take the small and big steps of life with her. Maybe you are the person Nuka is already waiting for? Are you giving this little happiness seeker her ticket to a new life? Are you letting her grow up by your side and showing her that she never has to search for her happiness again? Nuka is waiting for you - for her forever home, for her people and for a heart that beats for her. ❤️🏡 📩 Do you want to adopt Nuka? Then please visit our homepage at www.tiernothilfe-ev.de and fill out the interested party questionnaire under Request for Nuka. We look forward to hearing from you! Nuka is fully vaccinated, chipped, with EU pet passport and treated against parasites in accordance with the applicable regulations, and is being placed. Prerequisite for a ❤️ Nuka has her past behind her. Now her future should begin - maybe with you? ❤️

About Nuka Welpe

What life with Nuka Welpe looks like

Nuka Welpe is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Förderverein Tiernothilfe Siebenbürgen e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nuka Welpe, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nuka Welpe?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Förderverein Tiernothilfe Siebenbürgen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nuka Welpe on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nuka Welpe if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Förderverein Tiernothilfe Siebenbürgen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nuka Welpe already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nuka Welpe isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Förderverein Tiernothilfe Siebenbürgen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nuka Welpe and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
