This stunning girl is 16 month old 23kg Nya, she is looking urgently for a new home because she hasn’t settled in her new home of a few days. Nya is nervous around new people and reacts badly in the home to guests. The original owner has children and a busy household, which she finds very stressful. Her owner says that Nya needs a quiet house, he would suggest an adult only home. She loves all dogs and he thinks she would benefit from another older dog in the house as a mentor. Nya is nervous around people without dogs when on or off the lead and can bark and jump up at them, however people with dogs she is completely fine with and will happily let them stroke her. Nya responds to non verbal commands and has a fantastic recall and loves free running in the woods which is a popular dog walking area. She has gone to doggy daycare since she was a youngster, which she’s loves, she is good with the trainers (it took a while) and happily plays with all the other dogs all day long. She has been great with the owners two teenagers, but finds it very stressful when their friends visit. Nya is untested around cats and livestock so her reactions are unknown she would need carefully controlled introductions to livestock, we won’t be placing her in a home with a cat. Nya is fine to be left at home in the kitchen on her bed for up to 2-3 hours after exercise, she travels really well and settles very quickly in the car. She has been neutered and the vet has very recently prescribed anti anxiety medication which her owner says is already helping.
