Old Hup is a reserved but very friendly dog once he feels at ease (he is more at ease with women than men). Therefore, it will be necessary to be calm, patient, and gentle in his education. Old Hup tolerates his other animals of the same species. However, we will still avoid a family with another dog due to fights in his previous family. He is a fugueur and will need a well-fenced space, and especially a good daily physical and mental expenditure.

Il faudra donc se montrer calme, patient et doux dans son éducation. Old Hup tolère ses congénères. Nous éviterons, tout de même, une famille avec un autre chien suite à des bagarres dans son ancienne famille. Fugueur, il lui faudra un espace bien clôturé et surtout une bonne dépense physique et mentale quotidienne.
