Oluś

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Oluś—a canine soccer player on the hunt for his team! Oluś is a young dog, about 2 years old, who ended up with us from Sportowa Street. A coincidence? Probably not entirely, because it seems he’s brought his sporty spirit along with him! This little black pup absolutely loves balls and could spend entire days playing together. Chasing after a ball is definitely his favorite activity. So if you’re looking for a dog who’d happily become your partner for an active lifestyle, Oluś would be a perfect match! Besides playing with balls, he also really enjoys walks and exploring the world together. On a daily basis, he shares his run area with Pluto and Tośek, with whom he gets along wonderfully. This shows that he can thrive in canine company and truly appreciates the presence of other four-legged friends. When meeting new people, Oluś needs a bit of time to warm up. He doesn’t immediately jump into the arms of strangers, but once he grows fond of someone, he does so with all his canine heart. Then he reveals just how wonderful, loyal, and devoted a friend he can be. We believe that with the right owner, Oluś will blossom even more and fully showcase his amazing personality. Could it be you who becomes his best friend and companion for countless games of fetch?

Oluś – psi piłkarz, który szuka swojej drużyny! Oluś to młody, około 2-letni psiak, który trafił do nas z ulicy Sportowej. Przypadek?

About Oluś

What life with Oluś looks like

Oluś is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Oaza dla Zwierząt Mielec in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Oluś, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Oluś?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Oaza dla Zwierząt Mielec handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Oluś on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Oluś if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Oaza dla Zwierząt Mielec will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Oluś already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Oluś isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Oaza dla Zwierząt Mielec early rather than rehoming privately; they know Oluś and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
