Oopsie e Daisy

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten

General Information: Two lovely little siblings—Daisy, a female with a beautiful tricolor tabby coat, and Oopsie, a handsome red tabby male. They are vaccinated and microchipped. They have not yet been tested for FIV and FeLV. Temperament: Oopsie and Daisy are two wonderful little brothers with gentle and shy personalities. They’ve only been at the shelter for a few weeks, so everything is still new and a bit scary for them. Although they initially appear timid, day by day they’re making small but significant progress: they’re starting to trust humans and discovering the joy of their first gentle strokes. Ideal Adoption: We’re looking for a calm, family-oriented home for these two beautiful siblings—preferably one where the adopters have plenty of time to give them attention and play. Families with children are welcome, provided the children are respectful and supervised. It’s also important to respect the cats’ need for rest, which is vital for all cats, especially for kittens. As always with kittens this young, it’s essential that there’s a strong human presence at home to continue their socialization process, providing plenty of opportunities for play and positive interactions. Therefore, situations where the kitten would be left alone all day are not suitable. A home with a secure garden would be ideal, allowing the cats to go outside later on, after spending an initial period strictly indoors to settle in, establish familiar landmarks, and only after being spayed or neutered around six months of age. For cats who go outdoors, we strongly recommend using a slip-resistant collar (with a safety closure that automatically opens if pulled hard) fitted with an identification tag or similar. Adoption is possible only within the province of Monza and Brianza and in the immediately neighboring municipalities. Origin: Giussano (MB)

Provenienza: Giussano (MB)

About Oopsie e Daisy

What life with Oopsie e Daisy looks like

Oopsie e Daisy is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at ENPA Monza e Brianza in Monza.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇮🇹Adopting from Italy

Italian canili require adopters to sign a stewardship contract (affido) and may retain the right to verify the animal's wellbeing post-adoption. Animals are chipped and sterilized before leaving (Legge 281/91). Public canili rifugio typically waive adoption fees.

Frequently asked

Adopting Oopsie e Daisy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Oopsie e Daisy?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ENPA Monza e Brianza handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Oopsie e Daisy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Oopsie e Daisy if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ENPA Monza e Brianza will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Oopsie e Daisy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Oopsie e Daisy isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ENPA Monza e Brianza early rather than rehoming privately; they know Oopsie e Daisy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (IT). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
