Őrbrigád Ottó

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 11 months

With the help of Füzesabonyi animal welfare workers, we received 8 puppies who were born in 2025. Ottó is a special little boy, fighting an autoimmune disease that disrupts the relationship between his immune system and his hormones. However, despite the difficulty, he is still able to live a full life with proper medical treatment. Currently, he is doing well, walking confidently, playing, and behaving just like any other puppy. The only thing missing from his life is a loving guardian and a home of his own. At first, he was a bit reserved, but as he gets to know people, he becomes very affectionate and clingy. He can be easily picked up with a small pat. We are looking for a responsible guardian who will not give up on him due to his illness, as Ottó is just as valuable a companion as any of his friends. After neutering, he can be fully adopted as a family member.

A Füzesabonyi Állatvédők segítségével érkezett hozzánk 8 kölyökkutya, akik 2025-ben születtek.

About Őrbrigád Ottó

What life with Őrbrigád Ottó looks like

Őrbrigád Ottó is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Őrbrigád Ottó, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Őrbrigád Ottó?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Őrbrigád Ottó on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Őrbrigád Ottó if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Őrbrigád Ottó already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Őrbrigád Ottó isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Őrbrigád Ottó and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
