His story: Oscar pretty much chose his home all by himself: One day he simply stood in front of a house door in a small village near Cluj – in the middle of nowhere, but with full intention. As if he had said: "So, I'm ready for a better life!" And who could resist this chocolate-brown charmer with his dazzling toothpaste smile? Upon his arrival, he was still limping – a too-tight rope around his leg was to blame. But that's history! Today, Oscar zips through life happily as if nothing ever happened. Oscar is about 2 years old and thus in the later stages of puberty. Those who think everything is now peaceful, joyous, and cuddly are mistaken. In this phase, everything is tested, questioned, and re-sorted. What was true yesterday is questioned today. "Sit? Why? What do I get for that?" Those who accompany Oscar through this phase with humor, patience, and clear guidance will get a lifelong loyal companion – who stumbles through life with a wink. He gets along well with other dogs, is friendly to people, and is overall a pretty cool type. Only with very dominant male dogs does he sometimes show that he won't take everything lying down. Compatibility with other cats has not yet been tested. What Oscar doesn't know but wants to know: life in a real home. Couch, kitchen, vacuum cleaner, leash, driving – all of that is still foreign to him (for now). But he is curious and open, and with a little help, he will adapt quickly. A positively working dog training class would certainly be a great idea after the initial adjustment to learn the small dog 1×1 together. What Oscar is looking for: people who want a lively companion with character. People who know that bonds grow – and that a one-year-old dog is not automatically house-trained, well-behaved, and worldly-wise. A home with a heart, maybe a garden – and a lot of time for settling in, learning, and loving. Oscar is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. Seine Geschichte: Oscar hat sich sein Zuhause quasi selbst ausgesucht: Eines Tages stand er einfach vor einer Haustür in einem kleinen Dorf nahe Cluj – mitten im Nirgendwo, aber mit voller Absicht. Als hätte er gesagt: „So, ich wär dann bereit für ein besseres Leben!“ Und wer kann diesem schokobraunen Charmeur mit seinem strahlenden Zahnpasta-Lächeln schon widerstehen? Bei seiner Ankunft humpelte er noch – ein zu eng gebundener Strick am Bein war schuld. Doch das ist Geschichte! Heute flitzt Oscar wieder fröhlich durchs Leben, als wäre nie etwas gewesen. Oscar ist etwa 2 Jahre alt und damit in den Endzügen der Pubertät. Wer glaubt, da sei alles Friede, Freude, Sofakissen, der irrt. In dieser Phase wird getestet, gezweifelt, neu sortiert. Was gestern noch galt, wird heute hinterfragt. „Sitz? Warum? Was krieg ich dafür?“ Wer Oscar in dieser Phase mit Humor, Geduld und klarer Führung begleitet, bekommt einen treuen Kumpel fürs Leben – der mit einem Augenzwinkern durchs Leben tapst. Er versteht sich gut mit anderen Hunden, ist freundlich zu Menschen und insgesamt ein ziemlich cooler Typ. Nur bei sehr dominanten Rüden zeigt er manchmal, dass er sich nicht alles gefallen lässt. Die Verträglichkeit mit Katzen wurde noch nicht getestet. Was Oscar nicht kennt, aber unbedingt kennenlernen möchte: das Leben in einem echten Zuhause. Couch, Küche, Staubsauger, Leine, Autofahren – all das ist ihm (noch) fremd. Aber er ist neugierig und offen, und mit etwas Unterstützung wird er sich schnell einleben. Eine positiv arbeitende Hundeschule wäre nach Eingewöhnung sicher eine tolle Idee, um gemeinsam das kleine Hunde-1×1 zu lernen. Was Oscar sucht? Menschen, die Lust auf einen fröhlichen Begleiter mit Charakter haben. Die wissen, dass Bindung wächst – und dass ein Jahr alter Hund nicht automatisch stubenrein, erzogen und weltgewandt ist. Ein Zuhause mit Herz, vielleicht einem Garten – und ganz viel Zeit zum Ankommen, Lernen und Lieben. Oscar ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Er bringt einen EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in seine neue Familie ziehen.
