OSKAR – a gentle giant who finally wants to be seen❣ I am OSKAR and I am telling you my story, maybe it will touch your heart. I am 75 cm tall and yet one of the gentlest dogs you can imagine. Many only see my size – and walk on. But I wish so much that someone would actually see me. Not the centimeters. Not the body. But the soul behind it. I live at the animal shelter Help Labus, and although I am friendly to every person, I am always overlooked. Maybe because I am not loud. Maybe because I do not push. Maybe because I just seem too big. But in me lies a heart as soft as my gaze. I am a dog who leans in cautiously, not rushing in. I am a dog who gently touches your hand, not grabbing it. I am a dog who loves people. I am calm, friendly, patient, and incredibly gentle. A soul of a dog, they say here. And I believe they are right. Why you should give me a chance❣ I hope quietly. And maybe you will hear me. I dream of a home where I am not "the big one in the kennel" but your OSKAR. Of people who see my size not as a barrier but as a gift. Of someone who recognizes that a gentle giant is often the most loyal friend to lean on. I do not ask for much. Just a place where I can belong. A heart that sees me. And a hand to gently touch, to say: "Thank you for choosing me." Maybe you just feel that I fit perfectly into your life. I am ready to share my big heart with you.

OSKAR – ein sanfter Riese, der endlich gesehen werden möchte❣ Ich bin OSKAR und erzähle dir meine Geschichte, denn vielleicht berührt sie ja genau dein Herz. Ich bin 75 cm groß und trotzdem einer der sanftesten Hunde, die du dir vorstellen kannst. Viele sehen zuerst nur meine Größe – und gehen weiter. Aber ich wünsche mir so sehr, dass jemand tatsächlich mich sieht. Nicht die Zentimeter. Nicht den Körper. Sondern die Seele dahinter. Ich lebe im Tierheim Help Labus, und obwohl ich freundlich zu jedem Menschen bin, werde ich immer wieder übersehen. Vielleicht, weil ich nicht laut bin. Vielleicht, weil ich nicht dränge. Vielleicht, weil ich einfach zu groß wirke. Aber in mir steckt ein Herz, das so weich ist wie mein Blick. Ich bin ein Hund, der sich vorsichtig anlehnt, statt zu stürmen. Ich bin ein Hund, der deine Hand sanft berührt, statt sie zu packen. Ich bin ein Hund, der Menschen liebt. Ich bin ruhig, freundlich, geduldig und unglaublich sanft. Eine Seele von einem Hund, sagen die Menschen hier. Und ich glaube, sie haben recht. Warum du mir eine Chance geben solltest❣ Ich hoffe leise. Und vielleicht hörst du mich ja. Ich träume von einem Zuhause, in dem ich nicht mehr „der Große im Zwinger“ bin, sondern dein OSKAR. Von Menschen, die meine Größe nicht als Hindernis sehen, sondern als Geschenk. Von jemandem, der erkennt, dass ein sanfter Riese oft der treueste Freund zum Anlehnen ist, den man sich wünschen kann. Ich möchte nicht viel. Nur einen Platz, an dem ich ankommen darf. Ein Herz, das mich sieht. Und eine Hand, die ich sanft berühren darf, um zu sagen: „Danke, dass du mich gewählt hast.“ Vielleicht spürst du ja gerade, dass ich genau in dein Leben passe. Ich bin bereit, mein großes Herz mit dir zu teilen.
