Othilia is a very special lady in our group of 15 cats. She is not only one of the mother cats, but she is actually both a mother and grandmother to several of the other individuals in the group. She has carried a huge responsibility and given everything for her close ones during their difficult time, which makes her now deserve some extra care and peace. As a person, Othilia is a gentle and kind soul who carries her history with dignity, even though her small size tells of the hard life she left behind. In new situations, Othilia is a bit cautious and prefers to take things at her own pace. She is not a cat that pushes herself forward, but she observes her surroundings with a gentle calm before deciding it's safe to come closer. But once the ice is broken, she shows her true side – she is an incredibly sweet and lovely girl who really enjoys the human contact she now gets to experience. It is finally Othilias turn to be taken care of. After having watched over both children and grandchildren, she needs a home where she can be in the center, but since she has lived so close to her family, she is not adopted as a single cat. She needs a cat friend to lean on to feel completely safe in her new life. Othilia has started her health journey with vaccination and treatment for ear mites. Now we are making sure she gets all the nutrition she needs to build up her strength for spaying and the long-awaited move to her forever home. She is a little jewel waiting to shine in the right family.
