When Otis arrived in our care he was very nervous and shy, he can be unsure of being touched, especially by new people. With a lot of patience and love he is slowly starting to trust the staff and volunteers at the center. He is a typical hyperactive terrier who is going to need plenty of walks and mental stimulation to help keep him occupied. Once he gets to know you he is an affectionate boy. His new family will need to have plenty of time to come and meet him before going home so he can build up his confidence. He just needs someone that is patient and willing to put in the work to gain his trust. Experience with rescue dogs or the breed is needed. Otis is best suited to an adult only home, with no visiting children.
