The Rottweiler PABLO came to us in December 2022 because his owners were overwhelmed with him. He was born on 13.03.2018, is neutered, weighs 51kg, and has a shoulder height of 68cm. Toward his trusted people, PABLO is clingy, cuddly, and friendly. Foreign people should respect his individual space, as he does not want to be pressured and makes this very clear. PABLO has a problem with female dogs, and his behavior around male dogs depends on their mutual sympathy. PABLO shows leash aggression when he feels unled. His behavior outside also depends heavily on the handling. If PABLO accepts and trusts the dog handler, he allows people, cyclists, lorries, and other dogs to pass by. Without acceptance and trust, he can become very explosive in his environment. PABLO walks well on the leash, responds well to recall, and has excellent basic obedience. He is well attuned to his human. Since PABLO already had several previous owners, we are looking for people with dog/breed experience who can physically and mentally match the male dogs. PABLO needs a stable and structured home. We are looking for a single-pet home without other animals. Older children would be an option. Since PABLO is listed as a category II kennel dog in Bavaria, the new owner should inform their community about the housing conditions for this category in advance.
