This is Pablo, a Jack Russell mix around 8 years old. Pablo came to us with Monti and a cat because their owner could no longer care for them. The first days Pablo found everything very exciting. He stayed growling in a corner and when someone came too close, he could even snap out of fear. But as Pablo began to feel safer, more of his true character emerged. The treats certainly helped with that. Pablo has now changed into a very sweet cuddly dog. He enjoys attention enormously and would love to be with you. Cuddles, attention and of course something tasty, that's what makes Pablo really happy. He can't get enough of it! Pablo needs a quiet environment. He finds loud or pushy dogs exciting. He could live well with a quiet dog, but being placed with Monti is not necessary. What Pablo is looking for above all is human company. He wants to be with his people and enjoy all the attention he loves so much. Young children are too busy for Pablo. A quiet household with people who understand his signals and give him time to build trust would be the best fit for him. Pablo may have a heart murmur. An X-ray has been taken. It is not yet clear how much this affects his health. He may need medication in the future. Whoever has given Pablo his trust once will get an incredibly cozy and affectionate dog in return. Pablo is looking for a quiet and loving home where he can be with his people a lot. A place where he can get used to, feel safe and especially enjoy attention, cuddles and his favorite treats. Dit is Pablo, een Jack Russell-kruising van ongeveer 8 jaar oud. Pablo kwam samen met Monti en een kat bij ons terecht, omdat hun eigenaar helaas niet meer voor haar dieren kon zorgen. De eerste dagen vond Pablo het allemaal ontzettend spannend. Hij bleef grommend in een hoekje en wanneer iemand te dichtbij kwam, kon hij vanuit angst zelfs happen. Maar naarmate Pablo zich veiliger begon te voelen, kwam er steeds meer van zijn ware karakter tevoorschijn. Daar hebben de snoepjes zeker een handje bij geholpen. Inmiddels is Pablo veranderd in een ontzettend lieve knuffelkont. Hij geniet enorm van aandacht en wil het liefst gezellig bij je zijn. Knuffels, aandacht en natuurlijk iets lekkers, daar maak je Pablo écht gelukkig mee. Hij kan er geen genoeg van krijgen! Pablo heeft wel behoefte aan een rustige omgeving. Drukke of opdringerige honden vindt hij spannend. Met een rustige hond zou hij prima kunnen samenleven, maar samen met Monti geplaatst worden is niet noodzakelijk. Wat Pablo vooral zoekt, is menselijk gezelschap. Hij wil graag bij zijn mensen zijn en genieten van alle aandacht die hij zo heerlijk vindt. Ook jonge kinderen zijn voor Pablo te druk. Een rustig huishouden, met mensen die zijn signalen begrijpen en hem de tijd geven om vertrouwen op te bouwen, zou daarom het beste bij hem passen. Bij Pablo is mogelijk sprake van een hartruis. Er is inmiddels een röntgenfoto gemaakt. Het is nog niet duidelijk in hoeverre dit gevolgen heeft voor zijn gezondheid. Mogelijk zal hij in de toekomst medicatie nodig hebben.
