Asiel Tenerife: Update July 29, 2026: 2 new photos and several new videos have been added to Pablo’s profile. Input June 20, 2026: Pablo is a treasure of a dog who could really benefit from a soft bed and his own special spot. Big and beautiful yet so small and vulnerable—sensitive, elegant, gentle, and shy, yet so eager for love and curious for attention... what a delightful combination! Pablo came to us through another shelter. That shelter was about to close, and they were looking for homes for their dogs. Our team went to the site and selected the most “urgent” and sensitive, vulnerable dogs. Among them was this invisible gem who had been waiting far too long for his chance—and now even his one familiar and trusted place was about to disappear. Pablo is quietly present all the time. He has gorgeous rough coat and eyes that speak volumes. Pablo has a gentle nature but is also cautiously playful and delightfully curious. Without a doubt, he still has so much to offer, even though he’s holding back a bit right now. Pablo really, really wants to join in with us and everyone else—but he just doesn’t quite know how yet... which makes him a little hesitant and unsure. How could you blame him? This poor sweetie has been waiting far too long behind bars in cold places. From being a stray to ending up in a shelter, and now in a slightly better shelter with nice walks and more attention—this dear boy still needs a home, and above all, a dedicated human companion to help him grow and dare to let go, so he can truly start enjoying life. When we took Pablo in, he had two podenco buddies, Gabo and Malu, who were allowed to come along right away. They’re still staying together with us for now. They’ve been with us for three months already, and they’re doing great. We especially see Pablo growing and becoming happier every single day. He absolutely loves the outdoor walks and is clearly grateful for them. Running loose in the off-leash area has also become a highlight of the week for him—a moment he looks forward to when we walk past his patio. It’s so lovely to watch him enjoy it—the freedom, but also the anticipation of what’s coming next: a routine, yet something different each time, with new scents, new people, new impressions, and new adventures. He’s a treasure of a dog with an incredibly sweet and gentle character. We’re certain he’ll become a very loyal and loving companion for whoever opens their heart and home to him.

Asiel Tenerife: Update 27 augustus 2026: Nieuwe video toegevoegd van de ongelofelijk knappe en leuke Pablo. Update 29 juli 2026: Er nieuwe video's toegevoegd aan Pablo zijn profiel. Input 20 juni 2026: Pablo is een schat van een hond die een zachte mand en eigen plek echt enorm kan gebruiken. Groot en mooi maar toch zo klein en kwetsbaar, gevoelig, elegant, zacht en verlegen maar toch zo verlangend naar liefde en nieuwsgierig voor aandacht...wat een heerlijke combi!Pablo kwam bij ons via een ander asiel. Dit asiel gingen ze sluiten en er werd plek gezocht voor hun hondjes. Ons team ging ter plekke kijken en koos de meest "urgente" en gevoelige kwetsbare hondjes uit. Daar zat deze onzichtbare kanjer tussen die al veel te lang op zijn kans wachtte en nu ook zijn enig bekend en vertrouwd plekje zou zien verdwijnen.Pablo is heel stilletjes altijd aanwezig. Hij heeft prachtig ruw haar en ogen die boekdelen spreken. Pablo heeft een zacht karakter maar is ook voorzichtig speels en lekker nieuwsgierig. Hij heeft zonder twijfel nog heel veel te bieden ook al houd hij zich nu nog in. Pablo wil namelijk we héél graag met ons en iedereen mee doen maar weet nog niet zo goed hoe... dat maakt hem nog een beetje afwachtend en onzeker. Geef hem eens ongelijk, deze arme schat wacht al veel te lang achter tralies op koude plekken. Van jager naar asiel, naar nu een iets beter asiel met fijne wandelingen en meer aandacht maar toch heeft deze lieverd een thuis nodig en vooral een eigen mens nodig om te groeien en durven los te komen om echt te gaan genieten.Toen we Pablo meenamen had hij twee podenco maatjes, Gabo en Malu, die mochten ook meteen mee. Ook bij ons zitten ze voorlopig nog samen. Inmiddels zijn ze al 3 maanden bij ons en ze doen het super. Vooral Pablo zien we nog met de dag groeien en vrolijker worden. De buiten wandelingen vindt hij geweldig en daar is hij duidelijk dankbaar voor. Ook het los lopen en kunnen rennen in de losloopweide is een hoogte punt van de week geworden voor hem waar hij naar uitkijkt als we langs zijn patio oplopen. Het is heel mooi om te zien hoe hij dan geniet, van de vrijheid maar ook van het begrijpen wat er gaat komen, een routine en toch weer even iets anders, andere geurtjes, andere mensen, andere indrukken en avonturen.Het is een schat van een hond met een geweldig leuk en zacht karakter. We weten zeker dat hij een heel trouw en lief maatje gaat worden voor diegene die hart en huis voor hem opent.
