Adopt Pacha

Staffordshire Bull Terrier · Male · Young · 2 years

✨ Pacha is looking for an active and experienced owner! ✨ Pacha is a young, lively Stafford with a lot of energy. Walking, running, exploring - he loves it and really needs it. An owner who can physically and mentally tire him out will bring out the best in him. Pacha sometimes bites out of enthusiasm or when he experiences too much stress, but with clear guidance he can be redirected well. Behind the busyness is a big teddy bear who completely calms down when he is just near people. Being close to his favorite people is the best thing for him. He doesn't like being locked up and has had separation anxiety in the past. Fortunately, this is much better than at the beginning, but it remains something his new owner needs to take into account. Pacha was neutered and since then it has improved noticeably - he is calmer and more manageable. Because Pacha is sensitive, he is not placed with other animals or with children. He needs a stable, quiet, adult environment where he gets structure, movement and closeness. Are you someone with experience, time and patience who can further guide Pacha? Then you will get a loyal, sensitive and particularly loving companion. ❤️ If you are interested, we ask you to fill in the adoption form: Without this form, no meeting can be arranged.

About Pacha

What life with Pacha looks like

Pacha is a large young adult staffordshire bull terrier dog waiting at Dierenasiel De Knuffelpootjes in Menen.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇧🇪Adopting from Belgium

Belgian shelters operate under regional law (Flanders, Wallonia, Brussels each have their own rules). All adoptions include the Eurochip, vaccinations, and a stewardship contract. Several Flemish shelters partner with Dutch and German rescue networks.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pacha, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pacha?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Dierenasiel De Knuffelpootjes handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pacha on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pacha if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Dierenasiel De Knuffelpootjes will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pacha already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pacha isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Dierenasiel De Knuffelpootjes early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pacha and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
