This is Paloma, a beautiful medium-sized female dog. Her birth date is estimated to be around October 2023. She arrived at the shelter towards the end of 2024, together with her four puppies. Both she and her little ones were terrified of everything and everyone. We thought they would grow old here. But Paloma surprised us all — she slowly began to open up to us, to her caretakers. She’s still cautious, but her eyes seem to say: “Please, love me. Just… don’t hurt me. ” She hopes that someone will love her sincerely, take her home, and give her a soft pillow instead of the cold, exposed kennel. Paloma’s “package” is ready: vaccinated, chipped, sterilized — waiting for someone to trust her, so that she can finally trust back. She needs to know there are still good people in this world.
