adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Patt has found a home! His story: Patt was found alone with his siblings on a field. Luckily, the little ones were discovered in time and were able to move into a loving foster home. There, Patt now grows up in safety – together with other dogs, cats, and people who show him how wonderful life can be. But now, all Patt wants is his own family where he can belong. Currently, Patt is about 6 months old and in the middle of his puppyhood – curious, playful, and full of energy. He loves to discover new things, play, and always be close to his people. Patt is friendly, cuddly, and open – simply a ray of sunshine who wraps everyone around his paw with his charm. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even with cats. Like every young dog, Patt now sometimes tests his boundaries and tries out what life allows. With loving consistency, patience, and humor, he will quickly learn what is expected of him. A visit to a positively working dog training class would be a great support to foster his learning enthusiasm and strengthen his bond with his people. Patt will grow up – a sporty, curious companion who likes to accompany his people everywhere. He brings everything a young dog needs to become a wonderful family dog: enthusiasm for life, a heart, and the wish to simply belong. We do not know what breeds are in him. Patt travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He possesses an EU pet passport and can be transported after a positive health check. Do you want to give this wonderful little puppy a safe haven where he can develop into a strong, loved family member? Many thanks to his sponsors, who gave Patt the chance to have a new life with his name! Date: 06.10.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Stand: 06.10.2025

About Patt

What life with Patt looks like

Patt is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Patt, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Patt?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Patt on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Patt if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Patt already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Patt isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Patt and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
