Pepe is a small mixed-breed male dog with a very special history. Together with his brother, he came to our Hungarian partner shelter at the age of only four months. While his brother soon had the great fortune to find a loving home, Pepe stayed behind. For a full 3.5 years, he waited patiently, hoping to be seen. But now, his life has finally turned around: Pepe was allowed to move to a foster home in Germany, and every day he shows what a wonderful dog lies within him. He lives harmoniously with two female dogs and even five cats, and gets along with all of them exceptionally well. In a short time, he has already learned several commands, runs beautifully on a leash, and enjoys his new life to the fullest. He especially loves to run wild in the garden and finally be allowed to simply be a dog. Pepe is curious, clever, and incredibly eager to learn. He wants to make up for everything that was missing in his first years of life: playing, exploring, cuddling, and being part of a family. That’s why he is looking for people with lots of time, patience, and love who can show him how beautiful a real home can be. Pepe would best fit a family with slightly older children who ideally already have some dog experience. A garden for playing and running would be his absolute dream. Pepe ist ein kleiner Mischlingsrüde mit einer ganz besonderen Geschichte. Gemeinsam mit seinem Bruder kam er bereits im Alter von nur vier Monaten in unser ungarisches Partnertierheim. Während sein Bruder schon bald das große Glück hatte, ein liebevolles Zuhause zu finden, blieb Pepe zurück. Ganze 3,5 Jahre wartete er dort geduldig darauf, endlich gesehen zu werden. Doch nun hat sich sein Leben endlich zum Guten gewendet: Pepe durfte auf eine Pflegestelle nach Deutschland ziehen und zeigt dort jeden Tag, was für ein wunderbarer Hund in ihm steckt. Er lebt harmonisch mit zwei Hündinnen und sogar fünf Katzen zusammen und versteht sich mit allen hervorragend. In kürzester Zeit hat er bereits einige Kommandos gelernt, läuft toll an der Leine und genießt sein neues Leben in vollen Zügen. Besonders liebt er es, ausgelassen im Garten zu toben und endlich einfach Hund sein zu dürfen. Pepe ist neugierig, klug und unglaublich lernbegierig. Er möchte alles nachholen, was ihm in den ersten Jahren seines Lebens gefehlt hat. Spielen, entdecken, kuscheln und Teil einer Familie sein. Deshalb sucht er Menschen mit viel Zeit, Geduld und Liebe, die ihm zeigen, wie schön ein echtes Zuhause sein kann. Am besten würde Pepe zu einer Familie mit etwas älteren Kindern passen, die idealerweise schon Hundeerfahrung mitbringt. Ein Garten zum Spielen und Toben wäre für ihn ein absoluter Traum.
