Dit is de lieve Pepper! Pepper werd als kitten gevonden zonder kattenmoeder. Hij miauwde wanhopig bij een vuilnisbak. Een vrijwilligster hoorde hem en gaf hem flesvoeding. Hier reageerde hij erg goed op. Pepper heeft een vrolijk en nieuwsgierig karakter. Hij wil altijd weten wat er om hem heen gebeurd. In het begin heeft hij een paar dagen nodig om te wennen aan nieuwe mensen. Het kost wat tijd om een band met hem op te bouwen. In het begin kan hij het beste wennen in één kamer. Daarna kan hij de rest van het huis verkennen. Als hij iemand eenmaal kent, komt zijn mooie karakter tevoorschijn. Pepper is speels. Hij staat altijd klaar om met een kattenspeeltje te spelen. Hij heeft een leuk kattenvriendje nodig. Pepper is sociaal. Hij is lief voor andere katten. Hij is een beetje terughoudend tegenover mensen. Hij houdt van het huiselijke leven en de routine in huis. Pepper houdt van knuffelen. Hij vindt het heerlijk om naast zijn verzorgster te slapen. Hij wordt ook graag geknuffeld door haar. Op die momenten is hij even niet meer zo druk bezig met ontdekken en spelen. Pepper is niet geschikt voor een gezin met (kleine) kinderen. Hij wil alleen door zijn eigen baasje opgetild worden. In een nieuwe omgeving en met nieuwe mensen heeft hij wat tijd nodig om zich aan te passen en vertrouwen op te bouwen. Daarna wordt hij een vrolijke volgeling van onze dagelijkse bezigheden en vindt hij het leuk om met kattenspeeltjes, andere katten en de dagelijkse routine in huis te spelen. Hij spint en speelt graag, geniet ervan om samen met ons te ontspannen op bed of de bank en is dol op uitzicht vanuit het raam, een terras of een veilig balkon. Pepper heeft een fijn speelkameraadje nodig, geen dominante. hij houdt van andere katten en deelt graag zijn mand en eten met ze. Hij vindt het fijn als we zachtjes tegen hem praten en rustig met hem spelen. Hij is bang voor harde geluiden, dus niet geschikt voor jonge kinderen; hij kan beter overweg met volwassenen. Zijn beste vriend is drie potige Fuzzy. Al one kittens worden uitsluitend in een huisje geplaatst waar al een andere kat aanwezig is, of als duo!
