Her story: With such a bold look, ears on full display, and paws already halfway into the next adventure? That's Peps – an absolutely charming female dog with a very special look and an even bigger heart. Peps was found with her four siblings – Ayla, Hazelnut, Bubi, and Foxy – in a ditch at the edge of a forest clearing. Wet, chilled, and hungry. But instead of giving up, she decided: Now, life will be lived! In a Romanian foster home in Cluj, she is now blooming – curious, playful, open-minded, and full of joy. Visually, Peps is a little stunner: Her brown-and-white fur is not only fluffy but also lovingly patterned – her front paws are adorned with sweet freckles, her white chest merges into a narrow strip on her forehead, and her hazel eyes look attentively and cleverly into the world. On her collar, she sports a small white flag – perfect to win all hearts in a storm. Peps is a typical puppy: curious, playful, cuddly – and sometimes a little clumsy. She loves people, gets along well with other dogs, and is open to everything life has to offer. A little cautious in new situations sometimes – but with a few treats and a kind word, she warms up quickly. Of course, Peps also brings everything that comes with being a real puppy: a lot of fluff in her head and zero understanding of discipline. House training, leash manners, being alone, and handling frustration – all of that still needs to be on her to-do list. And when puberty comes, it means: stay calm and keep going. Because that's when the foundation for the future dream dog is laid. That's why we are looking for people for Peps who not only see her cute face but are also ready to accompany her on her journey with heart, mind, patience, and humor. People who can also laugh at a chewed-up sofa cushion and understand that relationships grow not through control but through trust. Peps wants to be a full-fledged family member in your heart and on the couch – no decoration, no side project. She wants to grow with you, learn, cuddle, and explore the world. Whoever enables that gets a lifelong faithful friend. A visit to a positively working dog training class could be a great addition here. Peps is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. Ihre Geschichte: Wer da so keck aus der Wäsche guckt, die Schlappohren auf Durchzug gestellt und die Pfoten schon halb im nächsten Abenteuer? Das ist Peps – eine absolut bezaubernde Hündin mit einem ganz besonderen Look und noch größerem Herzen. Peps wurde mit ihren vier Geschwistern – Ayla, Hazelnut, Bubi und Foxy – in einem Graben am Rand eines Waldstücks gefunden. Nass, unterkühlt, hungrig. Aber anstatt aufzugeben, hat sie beschlossen: Jetzt wird gelebt! In der rumänischen Pflegestelle in Cluj blüht sie nun auf – neugierig, verspielt, aufgeschlossen und voller Lebensfreude. Optisch ist Peps ein kleiner Hingucker: Ihr braun-weißes Fell ist nicht nur flauschig, sondern auch liebevoll getupft – ihre Vorderpfoten zieren süße Sommersprossen, die weiße Brust geht in einen schmalen Streifen auf der Stirn über, und ihre bernsteinfarbenen Augen schauen aufmerksam und klug in die Welt. An der Rute trägt sie ein kleines weißes Fähnchen – perfekt, um alle Herzen im Sturm zu erobern. Peps ist ein typisches Hundekind: neugierig, verspielt, verkuschelt – und manchmal auch ein kleines bisschen tollpatschig. Sie liebt Menschen, versteht sich gut mit anderen Hunden und zeigt sich offen für alles, was das Leben noch so bringen mag. Ein bisschen vorsichtig ist sie in neuen Situationen manchmal noch – aber mit ein paar Leckerlis und einem netten Ton taut sie schnell auf. Natürlich bringt Peps auch alles mit, was zu einem echten Welpen gehört: Jede Menge Flausen im Kopf und noch null Ahnung von Erziehung. Stubenreinheit, Leinenführigkeit, Alleinbleiben, Frust aushalten – das alles steht noch auf ihrer To-do-Liste. Und wenn die Pubertät erst mal kommt, heißt es: Nerven behalten und weitermachen. Denn genau dann wird das Fundament für den späteren Traumhund gelegt. Deshalb suchen wir für Peps Menschen, die nicht nur ihr niedliches Gesicht sehen, sondern vor allem bereit sind, sie mit Herz, Verstand, Geduld und Humor auf ihrem Weg zu begleiten. Menschen, die auch mal über ein zerkautes Sofakissen lachen können und verstehen, dass Beziehung nicht über Kontrolle, sondern über Vertrauen wächst.
