Mia und Tina

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 8 years

You want to financially support an animal? Then you will become a godparent and take on a godparentship. Hello, dear people, here come two magical female dogs. Mia und Tina are mother and daughter and are looking for a loving home. We are currently in a foster home in Gummersbach. We were allowed to move there – because we were heartlessly discarded in an animal shelter in Spain. We are two very calm and loving female dogs. In the house, we behave wonderfully and are also house-trained. We love to lie in the garden and enjoy a few sunbeams. We like to go for walks and driving is also no problem for us. Also, there is no need to worry about our health – we have just been examined by a vet and our blood test is in order. We get along well with other dogs – but we are also a well-rehearsed Dream Team when alone. Your new people will get two uncomplicated and loving female dogs who still deserve a loving home. Come and meet us? We have been waiting almost a year for a wonderful home – now we are on a long-term foster care in NRW and can spend our golden years together there. We urgently need people who want to take on a godparentship for the two of us. Our association continues to cover the veterinary costs.

About Mia und Tina

What life with Mia und Tina looks like

Mia und Tina is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at PetAngels gGmbH in Hamburg.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mia und Tina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mia und Tina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. PetAngels gGmbH handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mia und Tina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mia und Tina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — PetAngels gGmbH will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mia und Tina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mia und Tina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with PetAngels gGmbH early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mia und Tina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
