Perry is a magnificent 4-year-old male with an alert gaze, a playful streak, and a strong character. He has already been returned from adoption twice. Not because he isn't a good dog, but because the match wasn't right. That is exactly why we are no longer looking for a "good" home for Perry, but for the right one. Perry needs calm. No busy household, no young children, no constant stimulation. Children under 16 are not a good fit for him. A calm teenager who understands how to handle dogs might work, but a hectic family life is simply too much for Perry. He needs a no-nonsense owner: someone who doesn't get stressed by everything, who can provide leadership without being harsh, who stays in control in exciting situations and remains calm when it matters.
