April 2024 Size: ca. 48 cm Perry lived together with his brother on the roadside in the industrial area of Patras. A dangerous place, because there the lorries race without regard for the stray dogs. So one day, Perry's brother was hit and fatally injured. Local animal welfare workers wanted to bring Perry to safety, but he was very shy and wouldn't be caught. Over several weeks, Maria drove to the location, laid out food, until one day Perry was caught. He was taken to the vet, where he was neutered, vaccinated, and tested for Mediterranean diseases. After that, he was placed in a local animal shelter. There he is settling in and is slowly beginning to trust. Perry has already built a good relationship with the shelter manager. He lets her leash him, pet him, and enjoys her company. However, he is very mistrustful of strangers, so we are looking for people with a lot of experience in handling insecure dogs for Perry. Perry certainly still has much to learn. His people should therefore be able to safely guide him through everyday life. Small children should not be present due to the stress levels, but a confident only dog can be part of the adoption. Perry is already castrated, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. Additionally, he has his own EU pet passport in his luggage when he arrives in Germany.

Rüde/kastriertgeb. ca.April 2024Grösse : ca. 48 cm Perry lebte zusammen mit seinem Bruder auf der Landstraße im Industriegebiet von Patras. Ein gefährlicher Ort, denn dort rasen die LKW´s ohne Rücksicht auf die Streuner. So ist auch eines Tages Perrys Bruder angefahren und tödlich verletzt worden. Örtliche Tierschützer wollten Perry in Sicherheit bringen, aber er war sehr scheu und ließ sich nicht einfangen. Über mehrere Wochen ist Maria zu der Stelle gefahren, hat Futter ausgelegt, bis sich Perry eines Tages fangen ließ. Er wurde erst zum Tierarzt gebracht, wo er kastriert, geimpft und auf Mittelmeerkrankheiten getestet wurde. Anschließend ist er in einer örtlichen Tierpension untergebracht worden. Dort lebt er sich ein und fängt langsam an, Vertrauen zu fassen. Zu der Betreiberin der Pension hat Perry bereits ein gutes Verhältnis aufgebaut. Er lässt sich von ihr anleinen, streicheln und genießt auch ihre Nähe. Fremden Menschen gegenüber ist er jedoch sehr misstrauisch, weshalb wir für Perry Menschen mit viel Hundeerfahrung im Umgang mit unsicheren Hunden suchen. Perry muss sicherlich noch Vieles lernen. Seine Menschen sollten ihn daher sicher durch den Alltag begleiten können. Kleine Kinder sollten aufgrund des Stresslevels nicht vorhanden sein, ein souveräner Ersthund kann aber gerne dabei sein. Perry ist bereits kastriert, geimpft, gechipt und entwurmt. Außerdem hat er seinen eigenen EU-Heimtierausweis im Gepäck, wenn er in Deutschland ankommt.
