Peze

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Peze is looking for a home. 2017.04.24 Peze wandered around Abony for days, begged in front of a shop, and was very thin. She was lucky because an angel took her under her wing. That same day we rushed her to the vet, there were so many ticks in her that the vet barely found space for the chip... of course she received imizol, it's not worth taking risks. Now she is starting to gather herself nicely, about 7 months old, kind, affectionate, female dog. She gets along well with other dogs and people. She needs human company, if she sees someone, she immediately shows her happiness with big jumps. Birth date: 2016 09 23 Vaccinated, microchipped, looking for a owner. Eger: 06-30-731-8116, or via private message.

Most már kezdi szépen összeszedni magát, 7 hó körüli, kedves, bújós, szuka. Más kutyával, emberrel jól kijön.Igényli az ember társaságát, ha valakit meglát, azonnal hatalmas ugrásokkal jelzi örömét. szül ideje 2016 09 23 Oltva, chippel ellátva gazdát keres. About Peze

What life with Peze looks like

Peze is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Kéz a Mancsért in Hungary.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Peze, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Peze?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Kéz a Mancsért handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Peze on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Peze if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Kéz a Mancsért will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Peze already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Peze isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Kéz a Mancsért early rather than rehoming privately; they know Peze and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
