Phil, our awesome Podenco baby boy, was found all alone in Jacinto Benavente, lost on the streets without microchip, what a tragedy... Phil is a wonderful boy, so loving and kind with everyone he meets - every human, every dog. He is really a wonderful soul who brings a smile on the faces of anyone who has the luck to get to know him. Phil loves to run around with his dog friends, older or younger, and he especially loves to play in the park and garden with children, who he cheerfully but gently greets. Being a young Podenco boy, Phil is of course very active, and there is no hope for a sofa decoration dog growing up from Phil - he is looking for a home that is experienced with active dogs, preferably with another dog already in the home so he can grow up to be a socially educated dog, and ideally he could join a home with one or more Podencos or similar dogs. He is a wonderful family dog though and he loves children. Now Phil is living in a foster home and is receiving great home education for the family with child and 2 other dogs. Phil is still very young, confident and ready to adventure through the world, so we can imagine him in different home scenarios, whether it is in the countryside, or suburbs or a little town, but one thing is for sure - Phil will need opportunities to run and move freely and safely, whether in a secured forest (with safety equipment and GPS tracker), or a large garden or fields. He is very human-oriented and loves to stay with his humans, but we must not forget that he is a Podenco afterall, and sooner or later he will be going chasing after the butterflies and flying birds. Phil is currently living in a foster home with children and other dogs, and is available for adoption in Spain and internationally.
