Some stories are hard from the very beginning. Pikina is one of them. Pika is an older mutt who has survived her entire life in a loving home with her caregivers. Due to her poor health condition and move to a senior home, she was left without a home she once knew. The decision to let others take care of her was exceptionally hard for her. Despite knowing he could no longer care for her as she deserved, he knew. Today, Pika is with us and is slowly coming to terms with the fact that her life has completely changed. She is a tender, peaceful senior mutt who currently needs the most a sense of security and great patience. The shelter environment is a significant stress for her, having been accustomed to a peaceful home life. Pika has some health issues we are monitoring: 🐾 awaiting a cardiology check-up, 🐾 has liver disease, 🐾 her kidneys have changes we are treating. Despite all this, she remains a friendly and tender mutt who deserves to spend her senior years in a warm and loving home. Due to her constant need for adoption, we can greatly benefit from temporary fostering. Temporary fostering is a form of volunteer work where you provide a home to one of our mutes who have been waiting for a new home for a longer time. The temporary caregiver will provide a safe environment, space, time, and affection, while we cover all expenses related to care, including veterinary costs.

Nekatere zgodbe so težke že od samega začetka. Pikina je ena izmed njih. Pika je starejša muca, ki je vse življenje preživela v ljubečem domu skupaj s svojim skrbnikom. Zaradi njegovega slabega zdravstvenega stanja in odhoda v dom za starejše je ostala brez edinega doma, ki ga je kdaj poznala. Odločitev, da se od nje poslovi, je bila zanj izjemno boleča. Kljub temu je vedel, da zanjo ne bo mogel več skrbeti tako, kot si zasluži. Danes je Pika pri nas in počasi sprejema dejstvo, da se je njeno življenje popolnoma spremenilo. Gre za nežno, mirno seniorčico, ki trenutno potrebuje predvsem občutek varnosti in veliko potrpežljivosti. Zavetiško okolje zanjo predstavlja velik stres, saj je bila vajena mirnega domačega življenja. POSEBNOSTI: primerna za bivanje v umirjenem okolju primerna za bivanje kot edina muca možnost začasnega skrbništa Zaradi nenehnih potreb po sprejemanju novih brezdomnih muc nam lahko zelo pomagate tudi z začasno namestitvijo. Začasno skrbništvo je oblika prostovoljnega dela, kjer ponudite namestitev katerikoli izmed naših muc, ki že dlje časa čakajo na nov dom. Začasni skrbnik poskrbi za varno okolje, prostor, čas in ljubezen, mi pa poskrbimo za vse stroške v povezavi z varovanci. Vključno s kritjem vseh veterinarskih stroškov.
