How do I contact the shelter about Piksel?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Piksel on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Piksel if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Piksel already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Piksel isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Piksel and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Piksel

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 2 years

Pixel is a black and white tomcat born in July 2026. He is cheerful, sociable and very curious - he likes to peek into every corner and check out what's going on around him. He enjoys human contact, likes to purr and can be a real cuddler, although of course he values petting when he wants it. As befits a kitten, he also has his mischievous side and loves playing with his siblings. Pixel gets along well with other cats - he knows both kittens and adult cats, he is not conflictive. He also has contact with children. He handles typical household noises well, the vacuum cleaner doesn't bother him. He is litter trained and eats well. He has undergone basic veterinary prophylaxis - he has been dewormed and vaccinated, he has a health booklet. Pixel is a cheerful, curious kitten with a nice character. Now he just needs a responsible, loving home where he can safely grow up and be a full member of the family. Contact for adoption: 512 182 032

PL·Show original

Piksel to czarno-biały kocurek urodzony w lipcu 2026 roku. Przeszedł podstawową profilaktykę weterynaryjną – został odrobaczony i zaszczepiony, posiada książeczkę zdrowia. Piksel to wesoły, ciekawski kociak z fajnym charakterem. Teraz potrzebuje już tylko odpowiedzialnego, kochającego domu, w którym będzie mógł bezpiecznie dorastać i być pełnoprawnym członkiem rodziny. Kontakt w sprawie adopcji: 512 182 032

About Piksel

What life with Piksel looks like

Piksel is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.
