Pinky Perky

Mixed Breed · Female · Senior · 9 years

Please help Pinky & Perky by sharing this page! Pinky and Perky are two French Bulldog sisters of 9 years, in the care of Last Chance Animal Rescue in Edenbridge, Kent. They need a peaceful adult-only retirement home with no other pets. They are lovingly referred to by staff as "The Pigs". Pinky and Perky both have strong yet hilariously funny characters. Perky is cheekier than Pinky and will always want to know what you are up to. She will follow you everywhere and get into everything. Pinky is a bit more relaxed and will happily wait for Perky to let her know if anything is worth getting up for. Both girls adore each other and act like twins, often doing the same thing at the same time. They sometimes have arguments, like all sisters, but are often seen licking each other’s face, making sure the other is OK and they always sleep side-by-side at the end of the day. Needless to say, they are inseparable. The Pigs absolutely love toys! They will play all day or for as long as the toys last. Pinky loves any type of ball and will play fetch with you, whereas Perky likes cuddly toys and anything that squeaks, however toys do not last long with these two so be prepared to have a supply. Perky will try and steal Pinky’s toys once she has finished with hers. So, they are best not to be left unattended with them for long, as a referee might be needed. They want a home with not many comings and goings or new visitors. Pinky can be fearful of new people and can be defensive straight away, so needs slow socialising. Perky has become better at meeting new people but would also want slow introductions. Once they trust you and you are in their club, they absolutely adore you as one of their people. They both love a lap snuggle and fuss in general. Pinky is especially fond of belly rubs. If you might have the right sort of home, and lap, for these two cuties, please contact Last Chance Animal Rescue as follows: Or pop in to meet them – Wed to Sun, 11am-3pm (only closed Mon/Tues) Please say you saw Pinky and Perky on the Oldies Club website. About Pinky Perky

What life with Pinky Perky looks like

Pinky Perky is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at The Oldies Club in United Kingdom.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pinky Perky, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pinky Perky?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. The Oldies Club handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pinky Perky on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pinky Perky if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — The Oldies Club will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pinky Perky already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pinky Perky isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with The Oldies Club early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pinky Perky and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
