Pip & Ralphie arrived to the shelter from a home, both together. Pip, the black puppy, has always been smaller than his brother Ralphie, who is tricolor. They are some sort of sausage dog/terrier mixes, but we cannot really know for sure. It looks like they will be small/smaller medium size dogs when adults, however they are NOT adopted to adopters looking for cabin size dogs for flights, as we can never guarantee the size and the weight. Pip is playful, inquisitive and full of personality. If something scares him, he may give a little bark, his tail will curl, but being the curious boy he is, he quickly forgets all about it and is off exploring again! He’s fully socialised with small breeds of all ages. Pip already knows some basic commands such as gentle, sit, and no, and he’s a quick learner who enjoys discovering new things. He’s good around both older and younger dogs and has a lovely, medium energy level. Like any pup, he has his “mad five minutes” before happily crashing out for a nap. Pip loves cuddles and playtime, has a healthy appetite and is very easy-going around food. He’s perfectly happy being fed alongside Ralphie and isn’t dominant at all. He’s a sweet, playful, curious little boy who would make a wonderful companion, whether it’s with a single family unit or in a home with adults and children. Ideally Pip is looking for a home with exterior space, as he is an energetic boy and most of all he would like to have a dog friend already waiting for him at his new home.
