Beautiful Pippa is 7 years of age and has been a family pet since she was a puppy. She is well loved and adored everywhere she goes. Unfortunately over the years she has escaped countless times despite the family’s best efforts to reinforce fencing etc. She recently escaped and destroyed a number of a neighbours pet chickens. Thankfully he has been very understanding, however this is something the owner cannot have happen again. The same property also has direct access (and usually an open gate) leading straight onto a very busy A road. The biggest fears for her owner is for her safety, and equally that she could or will cause a serious accident and injury to road users. Up until this very recent chicken incident Pippa hadn’t escaped for several months and her owner had hoped that it wouldn’t happen again but unfortunately it did and now she’s aware of the remaining chickens, she’s looking to get out again. Pippa is a very loving girl to everyone adults and children alike. She gets on well with other dogs on walks, she loves to snooze in the sunshine and loves to swim (however should always be supervised in deep water). On one occasion her owner spent 10 minutes searching frantically for her and had got into a panic that she'd gotten out.... then found that she'd popped the door open on the tumble dryer...had climbed in and was curled up fast asleep ontop of clean warm clothes! Pippa loves to be warm and hates the cold!!! She will happily exercise in cold/wet/weather, but then wants to be inside warm and dry. She will shake and shiver at the word winter!!! Pippa is a hunter and will destroy any game or small pets (cats included). Her owner is also very wary with her around livestock as she would at the very least give chase given the opportunity. If something tempts her outside of the garden she will do her upmost to escape. She is very excitable in a loving way, however this involves jumping up at people and or dogs.
