Pippa (Mama von Pille & Palle)

All Cats Pippa (Mom of Pille & Palle) Print Published: July 29, 2026 Breed: Domestic European Shorthair Age: 2025 Gender: Female Spayed: No Color: Black-and-white Housing: Outdoor access Pippa and her two children, Pille and Palle, were taken in from a friendly animal welfare association. Mama Pippa is a wonderful cat lady who has lovingly cared for her two little ones—and continues to do so even now. But that’s not all! Meanwhile, her brood has more than doubled. For instance, Mama Fipsy didn’t accept her kittens, and Pippa immediately stepped in and adopted them. Then came the little foundlings Nori and Charlie as well. Again, no problem—Mama Pippa takes care of them all. It’s simply incredible how big her motherly heart is. She continues to raise the little ones diligently and also does what she feels like doing at the moment. Pippa is cuddly and affectionate toward people. As for how she gets along with adult cats, we can’t say for sure right now, since she’s still with the youngsters. If Pippa isn’t in the mood for petting, she’ll just walk away. She goes her own way. Since she herself is still a young cat, we’d be delighted if she could find a home where she’d have outdoor access and where she’d enjoy not only cuddles but also playtime. The new home shouldn’t be located near heavily trafficked roads. At first, she’ll need some time to adjust and build trust before she’s allowed to go outside. Come and meet this wonderful cat mom! For more information and/or to schedule a visit (or to get in touch with the foster home), please call the animal shelter at [phone number]. A phone call in the morning between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., and again between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., would be ideal. Please understand that it might not be possible to reach someone right away, as our office isn’t always staffed and our employees are usually busy caring for the animals. So please bear with us...

Geben Sie also bi

About Pippa (Mama von Pille & Palle)

What life with Pippa (Mama von Pille & Palle) looks like

Pippa (Mama von Pille & Palle) is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Tierheim Alsfeld in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pippa (Mama von Pille & Palle), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pippa (Mama von Pille & Palle)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Alsfeld handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pippa (Mama von Pille & Palle) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pippa (Mama von Pille & Palle) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Alsfeld will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pippa (Mama von Pille & Palle) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pippa (Mama von Pille & Palle) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Alsfeld early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pippa (Mama von Pille & Palle) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
