Pit Bull Lelu – taube Kranke oder doch krankes Täubchen

Lelu came to us from a friend's TSV to increase her chances of being placed. This TSV had been working for a long time to get Lelu out of inadequate and, in the state, illegal husbandry. Originally, there were two puppies who often ended up as foundlings at the animal shelter, and it's not known which of the second puppy became Lelu. Lelu immediately captured hearts and shows typical terrier behavior, being stormy in every situation. This is evident during reunions and greetings, at the start of walks, in handling fellow animals, and during play. Patience is not her strength, and currently, the focus in dealing with her is mainly within the shelter grounds. Outside of that, it's a different story. As soon as a few meters away from the animal shelter, she puts on the brakes and wants to go back. If you persevere, she will walk her rounds politely, and then the walk can also be fun for both sides. Even practicing commands brings her joy, where we are exploring new paths and creatively using known hand signals and other ways to communicate what is wanted from her without words. Her world is quiet, which is why she is highly motivated and works diligently with intense mental stimulation. Since she was born deaf, it doesn't bother her, but she experiences less with a soundscape even in the animal shelter compared to her other canine companions. She loves cuddle sessions with every person, and a place with a willingness to train with a special dog is sought. She is loyal and affectionate, can stay alone after settling in, and is still happy to be included. She gets along with dogs but tends to have possessive tendencies towards trusted people, which needs to be worked on urgently. Perhaps a single placement would be ideal, but we can also imagine having a confident male dog by her side. The noise level of her environment is not relevant for Lelu. A house with a well-fenced yard would be ideal, but it is not a placement requirement. Dog-experienced children are also no problem if the adults manage the cohabitation accordingly, and Lelu might even be able to be trained to live with cats. She shows interest but not aggression towards them. Generally, she has shown no notable aggression and is more the cheerful, always happy two-legged creature that skips through life energetically. The applicable regulations per state must be observed by the interested party. We support in fulfilling the requirements. One should be open to discussion and patient, as Lelu sometimes needs more time to understand. But she always tries her best to make her people as happy as she is. Who would like to teach our charming deaf dove to fly…?. This is a young, adolescent dog.

Lelu haben wir zur Erhöhung der Vermittlungschancen von einem befreundeten TSV übernommen. Dieser hatte lange daraf hingearbeitet, Lelu aus unzureichender und in dem Bundesland auch illegaler Haltung herrauszubekommen.Ursprünglich waren es zwei Welpen, die oft als Fundhunde in dem Tierheim landeteten, was aus dem zweiten Junghund wurde, ist nicht bekannt. Lelu hat sofort Herzen erobert und zeigt sich terriertypisch stürmisch in jeder Lebenslage. Beim Wiedersehen und Begrüßungen, beim Start zum Gassi,im Umgang mit Artgenossen, beim Spiel. Geduld ist nicht ihre Stärke, aktuell liegt darauf der Fokus im Umgang mit ihr, zumindest innerhalb des Tierheimgeländes. Außerhalb geht es anders rum.Kaum ein paar Meter vom Tierheim weg, wird der Rückwärtsgang eingelegt und sie möchte wieder zurück.Setzt man sich durch, läuft sie manierlich ihre Runden und dann macht der Spaziergang auch Spass, für beide Seiten. Auch das Üben von Kommandos macht ihr besonders Freude, wobei wir hier neue Wege beschreiten und neben bekannten Handzeichen auch kreativ werden, um Lelu wortlos sagen zu können, was von ihr gewollt wird. Ihre Welt ist still, deswegen ist sie auch bei intensiver Beschäftigung hochmotiviert und arbeitet eifrig mit. Da sie von Geburt an taub ist, macht es ihr nichts aus, jedoch erlebt sie ohne Geräuschkulisse selbst im Tierheim weniger als ihre anderen Hundekollegen. Sie liebt Kuscheleinheiten mit jedem Menschen, gesucht wird ein Platz mit Bereitschaft zum besonderen Training mit einem besonderen Hund. Sie ist loyal und liebevoll, kann nach Eingewöhnung sicher gut allein bleiben und ist trotzdem gern mit von der Partie. Mit Hunden ist sie verträglich, neigt aber zu Besitzansprüchen Bezugspersonen gegenüber, daran muss dringend gearbeitet werden.Vielleicht ist ein Einzelplatz idealer, einen souveränen Rüden an Ihrer Seite können wir uns aber auch vorstellen. Die Lautstärke Ihrer Umgebung ist für Lelu nicht relevant. Ein Haus mit gut eingezäuntem Garten wäre ideal, ist aber nicht Vermittlungsbedingung. Hundeerfahrene Kinder sind auch kein Problem, wenn die Erwachsenen das Zusammenleben entsprechend steuern, selbst an Katzen kann man Lelu vermutlich gewöhnen.Sie zeigt sich interessiert, aber nicht agressiv ihnen gegenüber.Generell zeigt sie bisher keinen nennenswerten Agressionen und ist eher das fröhliche stets glückliche Zweihorn, das beschwingt und übermütig durch ihr Leben schnipst. Die geltenden Auflagen je nach Bundesland müsen vom Interessenten beachtet werden.Wir unterstützen bei der Erfüllung der Anforderungen. Man sollte diskussionsfreudig und geduldig sein, Lelu benötigt ab und an mehr Zeit zu Verstehen.Aber sie gibt sich immer und überall Mühe, ihre Menschen so glücklich zu machen, wie sie selbst ist. Wer möchte unserer bezaubernden kranken Taube das Fliegen beibringen….?
