Pixel is a playful and affectionate lady. She enjoys watching life outside the window and wants a quiet and cat-friendly home with good outdoor opportunities she can test out as she gets more comfortable. I have lived in foster care for the past three years and am now ready to find my quiet and patient forever home with someone who is used to cats. I am affectionate and playful when I warm up, but take some time at first to become comfortable with you. I can also be skeptical of new people. I don't like loud noises and hide until I feel safe again. But when I feel safe, I like to play with feathers and yarn. I also love being brushed and gently rub against the brush when I want some brushing. I am also fond of treats. I would like to be carried and enjoy being petted by you, but not on my belly, it is so sensitive that I would rather have it to myself. I can also lie with you on the couch or in bed. I have been an indoor cat my whole life, but I want to try life as an outdoor cat as I become more comfortable. It looks so fun outside, and I enjoy the cat-friendly porch in my foster family. I also spend a lot of time watching birds in the window. I try to talk to them, but I don't think they understand what I'm saying. My claws grow quickly and need to be trimmed regularly. It's not the most fun thing I know, but it usually goes well.
