PIXIE is a small chihuahua with a difficult past, rescued along with her sisters as part of an investigation into abuse in an illegal breeding operation. Marked by this early life, she is now discovering a completely new world. Everything will need to be built with her: she does not know what it is like to live in a home, nor the gestures of daily life, nor even going outside. Walking on a leash is currently very anxiety-inducing, and she will need a lot of gentleness, patience, and understanding to progress at her own pace. Direct access to the outdoors (a secure garden) will be essential in order for her to explore her environment safely. The presence of another dog in the home is also mandatory. PIXIE is looking for a calm, patient, and committed family, ready to accompany her step by step in her reconstruction.

Pixie est une petite chihuahua au passé difficile, récupérée avec ses sœurs dans le cadre d’une enquête pour maltraitance au sein d’un élevage illégal. Marquée par ce début de vie, elle découvre aujourd’hui un monde totalement nouveau pour elle. Tout sera à construire avec elle : elle ne connaît ni la vie en foyer, ni les gestes du quotidien, ni même les sorties en extérieur. La marche en laisse est pour l’instant très anxiogène, et elle aura besoin de beaucoup de douceur, de patience et de compréhension pour progresser à son rythme. Un accès direct à un extérieur (jardin sécurisé) sera indispensable afin de lui permettre de découvrir son environnement en toute sécurité. La présence d’un autre chien dans le foyer est également obligatoire. Pixie recherche une famille calme, patiente et investie, prête à l’accompagner pas à pas dans sa reconstruction.
