Adopt Plus à l'adoption-KENZO

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 10 years

This beautiful bearded is named Kenzo, he was born on 25/03/2016, he is up to date with his vaccines, not neutered but will need to be, he is LOF. Kenzo knows how to walk on a leash, he has a good recall. He had an education, he is social with dogs and cats, kind with strangers.....However, Kenzo has bitten when he is stressed or when he is forced....it is a dog who does not have confidence in himself or in humans. He is afraid of trucks (the reversing beep). I offered him to Peter Brock in Germany who is happy to welcome him and retrain him so that he becomes a balanced dog and I know he will succeed......it's the same case as Zoom.....Zoom who is now a lovely bearded, pleasant to live with. If everything goes well, he should join Peter at the end of the month.

About Plus à l'adoption-KENZO

What life with Plus à l'adoption-KENZO looks like

Plus à l'adoption-KENZO is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at Solidarité Bearded in France.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Plus à l'adoption-KENZO, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Plus à l'adoption-KENZO?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Solidarité Bearded handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Plus à l'adoption-KENZO on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Plus à l'adoption-KENZO if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Solidarité Bearded will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Plus à l'adoption-KENZO already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Plus à l'adoption-KENZO isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Solidarité Bearded early rather than rehoming privately; they know Plus à l'adoption-KENZO and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
