Adopt PLUS A L'ADOPTION-LANY

Mixed Breed · Female · Senior · 17 years

Lany is again looking for a new family......This bearded lady, still very young, was born on 14/06/2009, microchipped 250269700239158 , she is black and white in color. She is up to date with vaccines and spayed, she is also LOF. Lany knows how to walk on a leash without really pulling, a bit at the beginning of the walk......she obeys well the orders....At home, she knows how to stay alone (max 5h), she is well behaved and doesn't touch anything. She is sociable with other dogs, doesn't do anything to cats but is afraid of them. She is affectionate, a bit of a runaway but only if the opportunity presents itself....She is not shy and is comfortable with people ...fear of thunderstorms yes...In the car, Lany is well behaved and she easily allows herself to be brushed. She had some incontinence problems but with treatment and her osteopathy sessions, everything has returned to normal.

About PLUS A L'ADOPTION-LANY

What life with PLUS A L'ADOPTION-LANY looks like

PLUS A L'ADOPTION-LANY is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at Solidarité Bearded in France.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting PLUS A L'ADOPTION-LANY, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about PLUS A L'ADOPTION-LANY?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Solidarité Bearded handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw PLUS A L'ADOPTION-LANY on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt PLUS A L'ADOPTION-LANY if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Solidarité Bearded will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is PLUS A L'ADOPTION-LANY already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if PLUS A L'ADOPTION-LANY isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Solidarité Bearded early rather than rehoming privately; they know PLUS A L'ADOPTION-LANY and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
