We took Semmel from a friendly association. On their former foster home, there was an urgent need for more emergency noses, and we helped by taking in two dogs. Semmel is a spirited female dog who sometimes can't control her enthusiasm. She loves to play, run, and frolic. So far, she lives with her canine buddy here, and she gets along well with male dogs. We suspect that female dogs won't be a problem either, but if necessary, they should be tested. She is therefore a very good candidate for a second dog, and the existing dog should be more balanced, but still needs to be able to run with her from time to time. After a bumpy start, Semmel also runs well on a leash; at first, her excitement makes it hard for her to behave properly. She simply enjoys the movement and the affection and closeness. Children should be sturdy if present, or the parents should be experienced and skilled enough to manage this drawback and provide good management until then. For those who want to start the upcoming summer with Semmel at full speed, she is already in the starting blocks….

Semmel haben wir von einem befreundeten Verein übernommen. Auf ihrer ehemaligen deutschen Pflegestelle wurde dringend Platz für weitere Notnasen benötigt und wir halfen mit der Übernahme zweier Hunde aus. Semmel ist eine temperamentvolle Hündin, die sich vor Übereifer manchmal nicht bremsen kann.Sie spielt, rennt und tobt für ihr Leben gern. Bis dato lebt sie bei uns mit ihrem Hundekumpel zusammen, mit Rüden verträgt sie sich prima. Wir vermuten, auch Hündinnen sind kein Problem, bei Bedarf müsste das getestet werden. Sie eignet sich also sehr gut als Zweithund, der vorhandene Hund sollte in dem Fall eher ausgeglichen sein, aber trotzdem ab und an eine Runde mit ihr lostoben. Nach einem holprigen Start läuft Semmel auch gut an der Leine, zu Beginn ist die Freude so groß, das es ihr schwer fällt, sich manierlich zu zeigen. Sie genießt einfach neben der Bewegung auch die Zuwendung und Nähe.Kinder sollten, wenn vorhanden, standfest sein oder die Eltern sind erfahren und geübt genug, dieses Manko in den Griff zu bekommen und bis dahin ein gutes Managment an den Tag zu legen. Wer möchte mit Semmel mit Vollgas in den nächsten Sommer starten, sie steht schon in den Startlöchern…..
