Pollock is an extremely thin and clingy Podenco who finds himself in our partner shelter MI FIEL AMIGO for only one reason: he is not suitable for hunting. A hunter surrendered Pollock with the words that he wanted to get rid of him, having tried it but Pollock simply is not a hunting dog and goodbye. What a stroke of luck for our Podenco friends in Germany and beyond. And for those who still want to be. For Pollock brings with him all the desirable qualities one could wish for. And what a stroke of luck for Pollock, who now gets the chance of a lifetime. Podencos are active dogs. They need exercise and mental stimulation. Pollock is still young. Although he has left the turbulent puppyhood behind and the "adolescence" has long since passed, he still needs appropriate daily exertion. At home, Podis are quiet and unobtrusive. They love soft sleeping spots and are gifted bedders if allowed.

Pollock ist ein überaus verschmuster und anhänglicher Podenco, der sich nur aus einem einzigen Grund in unsere Partnertierheim MI FIEL AMIGO befindet: Er taugt nicht zur Jagd. Ein Jäger übergab Pollock mit den Worten, er wolle ihn loswerden, er habe es mit ihm probiert, aber er sei nun mal kein Jagdhund und Tschüss. Welch ein Glück für unsere Podencofreunde in Deutschland und anderswo. Und für alle, die es noch werden wollen. Denn Pollock bringt alle guten Voraussetzungen mit, die man sich nur wünschen kann. Und welch ein Glück für Pollock, dem sich nun die Chance seines Lebens bietet. Podencos sind aktive Hunde. Sie brauchen Bewegung und was fürs Köpfchen. Pollock ist noch jung. Zwar hat er das turbulente Welpenalter hinter sich gelassen und auch das „Pubertier“ ist längst ausgezogen, doch er benötigt angemessene Auslastung im Alltag. Im Haus verhalten sich Podis ruhig und unauffällig. Sie lieben weiche Schlafplätze und sind begnadete Bettschläfer, wenn es erlaubt sein sollte.
