Ponyo originally came to us as a stray. Before arriving at the shelter, she had already been lovingly cared for by her finder for some time. However, it quickly became apparent that the pretty little tummy of this cat was getting rounder day by day! Since the finder was already somewhat older and could no longer manage the upcoming rearing of kittens, Ponyo moved in with us so she could safely bring her babies into the world. On April 16, the moment finally arrived: Ponyo became the mother of four adorable kittens—Tashigi, Nami, Sanji, and Corby. She raised her little brood wonderfully, but now the four are old enough to go through life on their own paws. This clears the way for Ponyo’s own big happiness! Ponyo is an ultra-cuddly and incredibly loving companion who thoroughly enjoys petting. At the same time, she’s a cat who knows exactly what she wants. She’s aware of her own boundaries and clearly shows when she needs some quiet time or feels uneasy about a situation. Because of her honest and straightforward nature, we’re looking for a lovely home for Ponyo—one without very young children, where her signals are understood and respected. For her perfect happiness, after an adjustment period, this beautiful cat would also like to have the opportunity to go outside and explore, sticking her nose into the wind. Ponyo kam ursprünglich als Fundkatze zu uns. Vor ihrer Ankunft im Tierheim wurde sie bereits eine Weile liebevoll von ihrem Finder versorgt. Dabei fiel jedoch schnell auf, dass das hübsche Bauchlein der Katzendame von Tag zu Tag runder wurde! Da der Finder bereits etwas älter war und die bevorstehende Aufzucht nicht mehr stemmen konnte, zog Ponyo zu uns, um ihre Kleinen in aller Ruhe auf die Welt zu bringen. Am 16.04. war es schließlich so weit: Ponyo wurde Mama von vier bezaubernden Kitten – Tashigi, Nami, Sanji und Corby.
