✨ For Adoption ✨ Sonic • Birth Date: 2023 ⚕️ Sterilized / Vaccinated against Myxo, VHD1 and 2 ✨ Sonic, a loveable bunny who knows what he wants! ✨ Sonic is a cute and very affectionate little bunny. He may seem grumpy sometimes, but it doesn't last long... because in the end, cuddles and affection are just super cute! He simply appreciates being asked for permission before cuddles, so he can enjoy them fully every time. A little bunny with character, but mostly full of tenderness to offer. ✨ His favorite pastimes: • Exploring his space • Playing in his tunnel • Hiding in his boxes when he wants to be alone ☘️ Cleanliness: Sonic is clean and uses his litter. However, he likes it to be well maintained... otherwise, he will make sure to let you know by scattering a few pellets here and there! ☘️ Meals: Sonic now enjoys all vegetables, which he devours with great appetite. A real little gourmand! What he likes less: Sonic does not seem to appreciate soft cushions (comfort is overrated!), loud noises like the vacuum cleaner, or having cats set up in his space. • Adoptable throughout France if follow-up is possible. For adoption, we do not ask you to travel, you can arrange a ride-share organized by the association. Adoption fee: 120€ Sonic is currently located in department 14. Link to complete an adoption request Adopting a bunny is a long-term commitment with personal and financial constraints. You become responsible for a living being with sensitivity, not an object that can be discarded at the first problem encountered. This must be a well-considered act. All photos / videos of Sonic are available on his album.

About Sonic

What life with Sonic looks like

Sonic is a small young adult mixed breed rabbit waiting at Ani-Nounou in ani nounou.

Rabbits are social animals — most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Sonic, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Sonic?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ani-Nounou handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Sonic on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Sonic if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ani-Nounou will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Sonic already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most rabbits on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Sonic isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ani-Nounou early rather than rehoming privately; they know Sonic and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
