Portuguesa is a beautiful and very sweet cat, but also a survivor. She lived in a feral cat colony in the garden of a private house. One day, she appeared crawling on the ground, unable to walk. We went to get her and took her to our shelter, where we discovered she had a broken hip. After undergoing hip replacement surgery, she spent a long period of recovery to heal and recover. Currently, Portuguesa is still in recovery, and we are looking for a quiet home where she can start walking safely and regain the muscle she has lost after so much time without moving. She is a good cat, calm, a bit shy, and very pretty, who has suffered a lot and now only needs peace, love, and a place where she can feel safe. Portuguesa es una gata preciosa y muy dulce, pero también una superviviente. Vivía en una colonia felina en el jardín de una casa particular. Un día, apareció arrastrándose por el suelo, incapaz de caminar. Fuimos a por ella y la trasladamos al albergue, donde descubrimos que tenía la cadera partida. Tras realizarle una artroplastia, ha pasado un largo periodo de reposo para que pudiera soldar y recuperarse. Actualmente, Portuguesa sigue en recuperación, y queremos pedir para ella un hogar tranquilo, donde pueda empezar a caminar con seguridad y recuperar la musculatura que ha perdido después de tanto tiempo sin moverse. Es una gata buena, tranquila, algo tímida y muy guapa, que ha sufrido mucho y que ahora solo necesita paz, cariño y un lugar donde sentirse a salvo.
