Adopt Pria

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 3 years

♀, born ca. 2023 sozial - lovable - active in Spain Pria is a ca. 2023 born Podenco Andaluz mixed-breed female dog with a shoulder height of ca. 40 - 45 cm. Pria is still shy; the stay in the animal shelter and the hardships there take a toll on her. She eagerly awaits a loving, adequate home and a cozy warm dog bed, to live happily in security and well-being. The cute, active, and lovable female dog now seeks her final happiness with engaged people who have a lot of time for her, challenge and nurture her, teach her the dog ABC with calmness and patience, ideally with regular visits to dog training classes and integrate her into her everyday life, where Pria finally experiences the affection, love, and care she has not had before. Pria is well compatible with fellow animals of both sexes. She would gladly and well be rehomed with further sociable fellow animals, preferably of similar age and size. Having another fellow animal for her to orient herself on would be advantageous and very supportive. For Pria, a loving home with active, thoughtful people is sought, who have a lot of time for her, as well as a desire and joy in shared activities with her, to explore the world with her and give her the time she needs. She probably has not yet had much experience and is also not a couch potato. A more rural home and environment would be desirable and ideal for her. Cats and/or small pets should not be in her future home. Pria will be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for Mediterranean diseases. She is in an animal shelter in Catalonia/Spain. The adoption fee for Pria is 460 Euro. Do you want to give Pria a loving home? Then please sign up using our following contact form. ©2022 by Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. Created with Wix. About Pria

What life with Pria looks like

Pria is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. in Berlin.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pria, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pria?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pria on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pria if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pria already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pria isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pria and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
