Quinny’s kittens

Mixed Breed Cat · Unknown · Kitten · 2 months

Born here in foster care at Thornberry, Quinny’s four beautiful kittens have been growing, learning and finding their feet in a safe and loving environment. Orion and Big Bear are the boys, while Cassiopeia and Little Bear are the girls. Each kitten has their own unique personality, but as a group they are still a little shy and can take some time to feel comfortable around new people. With patience, gentle handling and slow introductions, we feel these kittens will settle well into their new homes and build lovely bonds with their families. They would benefit from adopters who understand that they may need a little time and reassurance while they get used to their new surroundings. With the right introductions, they should be able to adapt to a variety of home environments, including living with children and other pets. They are also suitable for either an indoor-only lifestyle or a home where they will eventually have safe outdoor access, depending on their individual circumstances and the household. If you’re looking for a kitten who may take a little time to come out of their shell but could blossom into a wonderful companion with love and patience, Quinny’s kittens could be just the ones for you. ❤️🐱

About Quinny’s kittens

What life with Quinny’s kittens looks like

Quinny’s kittens is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at Thornberry Animal Sanctuary in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Quinny’s kittens, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Quinny’s kittens?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Thornberry Animal Sanctuary handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Quinny’s kittens on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Quinny’s kittens if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Thornberry Animal Sanctuary will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Quinny’s kittens already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Quinny’s kittens isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Thornberry Animal Sanctuary early rather than rehoming privately; they know Quinny’s kittens and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
