Rami-4

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Country of origin: Hungary The charming puppy siblings Rami, Raya, Roza, Remus, Rayman and Roden have been residents of the Menhely in Kecskemét since 10.3.2026. They come from Nagykörös and lived there together with their mother Rukkola, as well as the dogs Britni, Filippa, Tuan, Makrina, Nikander and Hanka on a totally littered property. The owner was probably overwhelmed by his own life and thus could not do justice to the dogs either. The four-legged animals were seized and assigned to the animal shelter. Almost all the dogs have found their happy ending or at least a foster home, only Rami and Raya are still looking and we are firmly hoping that they will soon be seen and can also get their ticket to happiness. Rukkola was a kind and caring dog mom and the puppies were lucky to grow up with maternal love, even though the shelter is not the ideal place for it. Now their paths are parting. The siblings are becoming increasingly curious, agile and brave. They are playful, loving, friendly, open-minded and funny puppy children, who can sometimes show a little shyness in new situations, but quickly the childlike mischief and curiosity take over and they are ready for any mischievous act. Soon they will be ready to move into the wide world and spend many beautiful hours with their new people. The siblings are still very young and need to learn everything from the basics of dog training and their new people should enjoy teaching them lovingly what a puppy needs to know for its future life as a family dog. Similarly, their new people should be aware that a young dog brings not only a lot of joy but also a lot of work and that one takes responsibility for a whole dog's life. They get along well with their companions and love to play and run around together. Our two wonderful puppy children are looking for responsible and adventurous people to accompany and support Rami and Raya on their way to becoming adults. Dog school, varied walks, loving but consistent education, play, fun, many cuddle and snuggle sessions, enough rest periods and full family integration will certainly make Rami and Raya into wonderful dogs who will stand by their people through thick and thin. Two lively puppy children are looking for their people! Currently, both are still too young for castration, which must be completed by their new owners when they are old enough. The final size of 28-38cm and final weight of 5-10kg are estimates. On 11.5.2026, Rami is 23cm and 2.7kg. Rami and Raya can travel from around the end of June 2026, if they have found a home or a foster placement.

About Rami-4

What life with Rami-4 looks like

Rami-4 is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Happyend in Animal Happyend.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Rami-4, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Rami-4?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Happyend handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Rami-4 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Rami-4 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Happyend will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Rami-4 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Rami-4 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Happyend early rather than rehoming privately; they know Rami-4 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
