Adopt Ramiel

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 4 months

Native Country: Hungary The lovable Ramiel, born on May 1, 2026, was found homeless in Kecskemét, together with his brother, who sadly passed away. Ramiel was neither microchipped nor reported missing. As always, it’s unclear to us, and we think it fits the category of the “famous” unwanted offspring, which is then cowardly disposed of. His quarantine period is over, and Ramiel is ready to start a new, varied life as a beloved family dog. We are crossing our fingers that he can soon win his ticket to happiness. Like all other shelter residents, he should be lying in a soft bed, surrounded by his people, and not out in a kennel. Ramiel is a loving, playful, curious, and nice puppy, sometimes also shy in new situations. A small jewel that now needs to be lovingly shaped, because Ramiel knows nothing of puppy school. He brings all the prerequisites to become a wonderful and loyal companion who will stick with his people through thick and thin. Of course, his new two-legged friends should be aware that a young puppy is both labor- and time-intensive, but also brings a lot of fun and joy. Ramiel gets along well with his fellow animals, lives in a puppy group, and likes to play and frolic with his doggy friends. For our charming Ramiel, we are looking for dog-loving and loving people who will make him a part of their hearts. On his daily program should be: varied and exciting walks, age-appropriate mental stimulation and exercise, play, fun, plenty of snuggling and cuddling, enough quiet phases, and many wonderful shared experiences. A visit to a puppy/junior dog school would definitely bring him a lot of joy. Who will discover the big, wide world with Ramiel? Currently, he is still too young for castration, which his new people must do when he is old enough. His estimated end size is 35-45cm and end weight is 8-14kg. On May 28, 2026, Ramiel was 21cm and 3.2kg. Ramiel can travel, if he finds a home or a foster home, starting around mid-July 2026.

About Ramiel

What life with Ramiel looks like

Ramiel is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Happyend in Animal Happyend.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ramiel, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ramiel?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Happyend handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ramiel on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ramiel if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Happyend will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Ramiel already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ramiel isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Happyend early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ramiel and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
