Ramon was born on 10.09.2018. He is a molosser type, with a reddish-brown coat with brindle markings, resembling a mix of Cane Corso and Shar Pei. For adoption inquiries, please call 501 797 018. Adoption form -> HERE Ramon was born on 10.09.2018. He is a molosser type, with a size and build similar to a Cane Corso mixed with a Shar Pei. He is well-groomed, neutered, vaccinated, and has a passport. After his owner's death, he was taken to a shelter and then to our foundation. Looking at Ramon, we have no doubt that he had a good, loving home that cared for him. Ramon stole our hearts from the very first moment, with his kindness, appearance, and strong character. Whoever adopts him will gain a treasure, a specific protector, and a stable friend all in one. The boy has not been with us for long, but from the first days, one thing is clear - he quickly becomes attached to his guide and has a focus on him. With his owner, the whole world does not exist for him. He passes by dogs and people in the city with indifference. In the forest, on the property, in rural areas, he is a more vigilant dog standing guard over the family. He can walk on a leash and without a leash. He is obedient, likes to be close to his people. He does not show aggression towards dogs for now. He has not been tested with cats. He is a total clown to his human, with his tail wagging to the right and left. He lets everything happen around him. He calms down nicely, he does not have problems with excessive emotions. He tolerates car travel well. What kind of home is Ramon looking for? A home that loves molossers, which is looking for a wonderful dog with the strength and temperament typical of this group. We are looking for a home with a garden and a family where he will be a full member. Ramon currently lives in Magnuszew (Mazowieckie). Kto go adoptuje, ten zyska skarb, konkretnego obrońcę i stabilnego przyjaciela w jednym.

About RAMON

What life with RAMON looks like

RAMON is a adult dog waiting at Fundacja AST (Adoptuj Staffa i Teriera) in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting RAMON, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about RAMON?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja AST (Adoptuj Staffa i Teriera) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw RAMON on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt RAMON if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja AST (Adoptuj Staffa i Teriera) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is RAMON already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if RAMON isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja AST (Adoptuj Staffa i Teriera) early rather than rehoming privately; they know RAMON and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
